(Sat) Mar 17 9:00am - 12:00pm; Coastal Birding Class; Marginal Way, Ogunquit, ME; $30 Adult / $15 Youth (10-15yo)

The Marginal Way is a fantastic location for seeing the fabulous showing of seaducks, loons, grebes and other coastal birds. Because of its elevated position, it provides a high-ground vantage point for getting great view with reduced obstruction from the rolling waves. This will be run as a birding class, where we will take care to point out the key identification features and quiz each other to reinforce learning. For gulls, we will also cover the basics of plumage cycle identification ('ageing') too. We are also likely to find my favorite North American Duck - the Harlequin Duck ... and with some luck maybe we will find a lingering alcid (or two).

Carpooling - A carpool may be created depending on locations of class registrants.
